Seder – Maundy Thursday
You are Invited to a Virtual Seder
The Seder meal is a traditional feast that is held in honor of the Jews miraculous exodus from Egyptian slavery.
We are inviting you to participate in a virtual Seder (Jewish Passover meal) with us on Holy Thursday of Passion week (the week between Palm Sunday & Easter). This is an all church family event. The Seder Meal will be on our BAUMC Facebook Page Live at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 1. This is NOT an April Fool’s thing.
Please join us and experience The Passover in a meal that has been and will continue to be celebrated in homes worldwide.
Note: We have included five main course recipes for simple variety’s sake, not because you are expected to serve all five. Choose one lamb dish (because lamb is traditional for Passover) and perhaps one other dish (because not everyone likes the taste of lamb). You are free to serve a recipe all your own, of course. But please observe this caution: absolutely NO DAIRY would be served in a Jewish Seder celebration. That includes butter (margarine is fine).
