UM Women
Purpose of United Methodist Women: • To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ • To develop a creative, supportive fellowship • To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Bel Air United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women who nurture and encourage one another in their spiritual growth and who gather for prayer, study, fellowship, mission projects, friendship, and sharing.
The UMW Mission Team meets monthly to provide leadership and direction. Our fundraisers include an Easter Candy Sale and a Holiday Cheeseball Sale. We are also selling cookbooks and hand painted ornaments.
All women are invited to join is for our next UMW GNO—Girls Night Out, with dinner and a movie.
There are currently three Circles – the original small groups – who meet as follows:
Mary Martha Circle – 1st Thursdays, 9:30 AM, in the Lightner Library

The United Methodist Women also sponsor the Wednesday Morning Bible Study, which meets weekly from 10:00-11:30 AM in the Lightner Library.
